It's ironic you know? Because RocknRoll itself has always kinda been the bastard child of all music, you wouldn't expect the hall of fame to be so persnickety about who they let in, especially when it comes to legends of the genre. When the Ramones made it in, I remember thinking that Metallica is the equivalent for heavy metal and it’s a travesty that they hadn’t been inducted yet. Alas the time has finally come. I'm hoping to see Metallica call the HoF a farce. My Dad on the other hand could care less one way or the other, but he did enter this contest http://fuse.tv/music/metallica/contest.html. He's all suped up to win the Metallica discography, he doesn't buy cd's very often.
