Help with a song
Heard a song today that I saw a post on but after searching can't seem to lock in anything about it. The lyrics go "This is your last chance your last chance to save yourself last chance to be good to yourself". Kinda sounded Journey like 80's rock any ideas people?

Help with a song
There's a song by Journey named "Be Good To Yourself". But those lyrics sound more like the song "Last Chance", which is by a band called Shooting Star. Either way, both songs are great! Hoped this helped.

Help with a song
Sounds like you and I love the same stuff. I noticed you were hunting down "Under The Boulevard Lights" the other day, too. What you need is my Essential Rock discs that I put together some time back. It's got the Chuck Francour and Shooting Star songs you like, plus many other hard to find gems (i.e. Doucette, The Kings, Trooper, Angel City, Axe, Jay Ferguson, Tarney/Spencer, Spys, Donnie Iris, etc.)

looking for complete lyrics and artists of early 80's songs
I am looking for the artists and full lyrics of a couple of songs recorded in the early 80's
No 1 - I believe the song was called "a fine,fine day"
A couples of lines are "When my uncle sonny blew back into town, said I'll just go for a ride and have a look around"
part of the chorus was:"it's a fine fine day, and nothing's gonna drag me away

No.2 - This song was called: " you saved my soul" or something very similar
some of the lyrics:we were lovers for so long, every second record on the radio seemed like our song.Though we hurt each other baby it was so wrong, something in the bottom of our hearts will keep me holding on"
chorus:"Cuz you saved my soul, you came along and took me out of the nightime.yeah you saved my soul and taught me to fly
and i gave my heart and babe it's something that there's just no returning cuz if I have you now I'll never have to make it alone"
the second song I know most of the lyrics, but do not know who the artist is. Can anyone help me ??

looking for complete lyrics and artists of early 80's songs
The first song is called "A Fine, Fine Day" by Tony Carey. It's on his "Some Tough City" album and also his "Retrospective: 1982-1999" complilation.

The "Retrospective" CD also contains his relative hit "I Won't Be Home Tonight" and his Planet P hit "Why Me?".

The second song I haven't figured out, yet.

Hope this helps.

The second song is by Burton Cummings. It's called "You Saved My Soul". It was the theme song to "Melanie".
