One more for the experts!!!
Ok, this song came out in the mid 80's(as far as I can remember)and what I remember about the song was that it was uptempo, sung by a guy. Being a kid, my favorite line was when he said, "I want to be like Micheal Jackson, can't you see?" I knew the song as "What Does it Take?" but can't a song by that title that fits. In my head I hear "What does it take?, do-dew do-doo, do-do do-do do-deew!"(not the words of course).

I remember that song. Wanna say 1986 or so. I was by an artist called "Murphy Da Rock." Can't remember the label or anything but I had the 12 inch single. It got some airplay on Washington, DC radio. Lyrics: What does it take.....
I got to get (a break). Good luck on finding it.

Sincerely,
KEITH C. "Chocolate City."
