"For the Love of Money" inspired 80s song
Thank god for finding this forum, i am searching for a song from, i think, the middle of the 80s. I know it started with the baseline from "For the Love of Money" by the O'Jays but after that my mind is blank. Some white guy with a base in the video i think. Not even sure it was a good song but i liked it back when..

I might actually be the only one who remembers this song but if someone knows it would be a relief to find out..

''For the Love of Money'' inspired 80s song

Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch {1992}

Artists that sampled "For The Love Of Money"

O'Jays - Ship Ahoy: (Philidelphia Interna 1973)

* ?For the Love of Money?

Charli Baltimore - Money {1998}
Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five - Step Off
Heavy D - Money Earnin' Mount Vernon
Marky Mark - I Need Money {1992}
Ministere Amer - Prisonnier de la Monnaie {1999}
Queen Latifah & Levert - For the Love of Money/Livin' in the City
Steady B - Rockin' Music
Stezo - Getting Paid

I added some dates to the above songs. It appears that Marky Mark is the person because he's the only white person in the above list.
