[Forward to a Friend]
|Instrumental 80's song, will you ever be revealed? *_*|
Since I was a child I liked an audio cassette I had with some few italian songs and instrumental ones I never knew the name.
The other day, while cleaning, I end up with that cassette and I had a litte jump in my childhood.
I found all the song with a lyric, of course, but that instrumental songs are giving me few problems. Initially I thought that they were the soundtrack of NeverEnding Story, but I end up finding that even if the Ivory Tower track is indeed on that cassette, I still have three pieces I can't recognize because they weren't Neverending story soundtrack.
How to describe that songs? I'm not very good at it, and this is not my language, but I will try to do my best... the songs are very similar, in mood and style, wich lead me to think that are from the same artist or group. I know that the other song I have on the cassette are all from 1983-85 so i guess the three missing pieces are not very far from that year span (I have Shine on dance by Carrara on it too. I though they could be other carrara pieces but no way because they are too melodic).
I also try to find them in the Rondo Veneziano area, because they share a good similarity but there is just few instruments and not a whole orchestra like in the rondo.
One of the pieces have a repeting lyric (wich leads me to no clue) in wich a chorus sing "christina stay with me in the children town (missing words)... happy
birthgay to you the future (missing words)"
The music is very melodic and repetitive but with something that looks electric violins and something I can't recognize (an organ-like sinthetyzer? no clue ; ;). Another songs is more rhytmic with an electric guitar and a chorus singing a melody then suddenly the electric violin comes back.
I tried to focus on the spare lyric but I didn't end up with any result (maybe I didn't understand correctly, could be).
Any clue? Any artist I could look for? Definelty not Art of Noise (too electronic.
I would like to find that songs very much, I loved them when I was a boy.
